Aye I’ve beaten her. At the end her stomps keep coming out of nowhere, sprinting does nothing.

Blanche is only dangerous at the end, if stats are maxed out, it’s not a big problem. You think Fabienne is alright? She can be a nightmare for me sometimes, even when maxed out because there’s no cool-down, and she keeps stomping me before I have a chance to dodge. I’ve lost so many times just as the final Spark Lighter appears.

You're giving me ideas. A deer/raccoon taur (parallel universe scientist) for the final boss. Oh gawd, imagine four paws coming at you at once.... and when defeated and befriended...  she doesn't invade Earth but makes a parallel comic called "Humans 4 Life❣"

lol

My prediction is:
1. Rabbit and Sheep;
2. Mermaid/Shark and Dolphin/Whale?
3. Dragon and Lizard?
4. Protogen and Alien?

Double-tap Shift? Yes, please mention this, or include a tips page in a future update.

For Blanche, that's easy. But the game's hard enough as it is for Fabienne. ;_;

okay here's my advice to make your experience a pleasurable one:

1. Always choose Blanche FIRST. You are in for HELL if you pick Fabienne!

2. Grind your health/stamina/speed stats out with Blanche until they are maxed out.

3. For Fabienne, try staying down the bottom of the screen when she gets irate. Make quick sweeps of the floor for any friendship points that spawn at the middle/top, then quickly get back down to the bottom of the room or she will grind you out of existence.

I love the concept, but Fabienne is far too hard. There's no cooldown when they are grinding their feet on you over and over.

Love it. Be sure to add it as a bonus feature in Hypnagogia 3

When you say next installment, do you mean extra content for Hypnagogia Boundless Dreams? Or a whole new adventure?

Glad to hear you're still working on games.

So will this project be a completely brand new sequel, or a remaster with new content?

Yeah 2023 was a rough year. But always glad to see you being active and thinking up ideas for new games. Keep being awesome.

I adore your world and lore building so far. All the characters and stories are like something straight out of Courage the Cowardly Dog - heartwarming horror.

quite possibly one of the most aesthetically pleasing and beautifully crafted indie games of the 2020s.

awesome tribute to Metal Gear Solid, sodaraptor takes you back in time again to the PSX days.

Fantastic short story game. But I'm left wanting more. I hope a sequel is in the works. Maybe Mamma Rabbit now works at a dairy farm? As The Woman from The Window tries to break in their home?

Mamma Rabbit: You'll never milk me. :)

I wish this was a wallpaper or a profile theme for your itch.io profile, like with Steam.

The new lore/ending is fantastic. I wonder if this'll have a sequel or even become a franchise one day.

Maybe Lamu has other animal hybrid "friends" he's neglected to tell us about.

I’d have both, not everyone wants to bounce from Steam to Itch.io to agog, to Twitter, to Patreon, it’s a pain.

I also remembered! Puro says in his 2nd cutscene, Colin is “killing us”, so the wording should reflect the Pacifist run, to “afraid of us” or something.

perhaps an unwinnable final fight that tests how long the player can last? Or challenge mode?

lol, he's all "Don't touch me bro!"

Love your work. If you're updating this, please add a quick cutscene with a friendly Squid Dog that doesn't attack, when doing a pacifist playthrough - so the player knows they're doing it right! You're doing great.

The Pacifist one irked me a little, and that's because there's no cutscene or interaction with Squid Dog.

Maybe have him give the player a thumbs up? Or show him the way out? Or stop the monsters attacking? Make a hand heart gesture? Just to let the player know the giant approves of their no-violence run, rather than it briefly "glitching out" to the next area.

When it first happened, I thought the game was bugged and accidentally skipped a boss fight.

:O

You can't kill him (well not in the canon anyway). I think him winning in the end, is karma for the player acting like a jerk towards him.

The game is fantastic. If you wanted to do a boss fight with Puro, that's cool. One recommendation I would make to the existing version as is, is the Pacifist run should have a quick cutscene with Squid Dog.
